From Yukuan's blog..
Have you heard of the tale of the 2 rabbits?
Once upon a time, in the open corn fields of Australia Perth, there lived 2 rabbits. Rabbits are considered pests in Australia, as they have a reputation for their super-sized family line and humongous appetite. The wild hare grew up in a burrow. It belonged to the wild, and the deeper it digs into the burrow, the more protection it gets from the farmers who hunt them down. So on a daily basis, the hare would hop out of it's burrow to find food, fill it's tummy with delicious carrots and return to digging it's burrow. The other rabbit, is a pet of the farmer's son. Now this brown rabbit's life is luxurious. For everyday, the son will let the rabbit out in the field, and feed it with the harvest of the day. So live is to play with the son, run in the open gardens and feeds on good food. One day, the wild hare hopped into the garden and met this brown rabbit. For the first time they've met, so they chatted. The wild hare found it interesting that the brown rabbit has no soil over it's body and asked, WH: Where do you stay at? For I don't see any soil over your fur. BR: Oh, I stay in a cage, my owner bathes me on a weekly basis, that's why I'm clean. Doesn't your owner bathes you too? WH: Owner? Don't you mean the farmers? I fear them, for I depend on their crops for my daily meals. The day I see them, will be the day I die.. So my life depends on how deep is the burrow that I dug. BR: Life in a hole? That's very unusual and interesting.. Take me there, for I want to know a life full of adventures. WH: Sure! And will you take me to your cage, so I can see what life is like living in the comfort of an owner. They agreed. So the wild hare brought the brown rabbit to it's burrow. The brown rabbit being used to sunshines and the clear blue sky couldn't adapt to the dim, dark and damp hole where the wild hare stays.. Besides, there's no comfortable rag to keep it warm. "Naa, it's not good here.. I'll bring you to my place, you'll like it there!"So they went over to the brown rabbit's cage.. Behind the box, is a splendid view of the open fields, comfortable rag to keep them warm with water, fresh seeds and carrots abundantly available. But with all these pleasures, the wild hare is just not used to the level of openness and the confined feeling of being limited in a box. It felt insecure. "Although life is beautiful here, I do not feel the security of the depths of the burrow, the freedom of unlimited space." Is life half empty or half full for the wild hare?Well, I think it's half full from it's perspective, for it finds the comfort of survival in the harsh conditions in the wild world. Being in a empty glass, it made the most to top the glass up.From the perspective of the brown rabbit, it would seem that life for the wild hare is half empty. For it does not know how to relax and simply enjoy the total indulgence of being taken care of.In the end, the wild hare and the brown rabbit got along well.. For their life is different and interesting to each another. |

Haha... quite late i know but.. hmm...
In sch we had MTV Seng Kang - almost a tradition in our sch every year. 6 classes are selected to perform on National Day eve. Last year me class got selected and we got third!! Anyway, the first class was SOOOO cute!! they had this handmade "citybus" which is superly cute. Afternoon - went to Suntec! It's a long time since i stepped in there. I visited the ROCK Christian bookstore. then we (me, mom and sis) went to look for my dad. He's an exhibitor at the NTUC mega sale (in the convention centre) They tied me bag with cable tie before i went in. I was like so angry! I know, this sounds insane but i was kinda insulted. It's NOT as if i will steal anything.. humph.. Next door is another sale. Tangs!! I bought this very nice but big stainglass cross earing for 8 bucks. Night - went to Kallang. Auntie's father house to see the fireworks. Met a classmate - chairman's son - at the hawker centre. ( he doesnt act like a chairman's son at all. looks very normal and not a snob, that's how he became the monitor) didnt say hey but i suan him yeaterday. haha.. That's how i spent my national day.. =) |
[Mood: Depressed, not satisfied, frustrated] ARGGGHHH!!!! YOU DUM PPL!!! I SAID SRY TO YOU ALREADY. WAT MORE DO YOU EXPECT ME TO DO??!! DONT ACCEPT THEN DONT ACCEPT LAH! WHO CARES ANYWAY. I'VE DONE MY PART. YOU DONT ACCEPT MY APOLOGY THEN IT'S YOUR BUSINESS. ARRRRRGGGGGHGHHHHHHHHH!!!!! YOUR FEELINGS YOUR FEELINGS. WHAT ABOUT MINE?! HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT WHAT YOU DID HAS LEFT A PERMANENT EMOTION SCAR? DID YOU KNOW THAT??! Sry folks... i need to let that out sumwhere. no shoulder to cry on. this is turning to be the most depressing day. I mean it. T'cher tried to settle a dispute within me and the two dum ppl. Oh manx.. I end up feeling depressed. I'm like feel there's this new weight in my heart. The heaviest. it's really heavy. And then derek's stupid frens have decided to play with me. Make prank calls. I feel like shouting at them. why dun they use the time to study for their prelims and psle instead? Anyway, back to just now. I really really feel like screaming at them. screaming at myself. You know what I want to scream? "I TELL YOU, I'VE ALREADY DONE MY PART. ACCEPT IT OR NOT, NOT MY PROBLEM. YOUR PROBLEM." That's what i want to scream. |
This song seem to be stuck in my brain these days. Into Your hand
