I snitched this from jianhan's friendster profile. it's so convicting.. will you run away? or will you lay down your life for God? often, i think, if let's say there's a chance for you to die for Him, then maybe it's God's way of telling you that your purpose is fufilled and it's time to let go...
There was this very popular church where a lot of people attended. After the praise and worship session, there was this gun shot all of a sudden. That guy who shot came forward and shot another time. He said," those who stay in the church will be killed." Many people immediately ran out of the church in panic while that guy continue shooting upwards. However there were still some faithful christian who stayed calm and prayed.. After all those who ran left the church, that guy went down and sat. Then he said," Pastor, you may start. All the hypocrites are gone." Although the whole church including the pastor was shocked, he continued preaching and the presence of God was great there.
Would you be the one running away or the one who remains faithful and willing to trust God and risk your life?
