i'm backkk!!! now so tired. so stone. hahaha... this is going to be LONG ar! there, i warned you! heehee....
[[TUESDAY - 30 november]]
i decided to use my sister's ezlink for convinience sake. [["agianst the law"]] guess what.. the pass checker came up to the bus!! i havent seen checkers for a long time le lor... so swey! but i was like... "God!! let the person pass me...!!" and heng, the bus very crowded... so i think he never see me. and i was LATE to meet cindy!! she, alvin and cheney were waiting for me in macs..haha.. then we went to long john and met amanda, eunice and alena. they let us their table and went to do last min shopping.. we ate, then oso went VERY last min shopping. and we were late to meet the ushers!!
so anyway, we waited for some more ushers, and took 29 to the chalet. the bus was so noisy. hahaha... then about 30min later... we alighted the bus. couldnt find the chalet and we walked to and fro! finally we called alicia and she came to find us. actually, we took one extra stop, thats why cannot find! and wow, the chalet was very private and very nice. sea view. hah. then we prayed over the house.. we were divided into groups lah. my group got chloe, cindy, kin onn, jerome and jacq. we had a very short session of PnW, and played an icebreaker called the blanket game. it was so funny lah.. and had a "reflection" activity called 1st things 1st. then was shower and dinner... the queue was so long, cuz only one toilet of gals and 1 toilet for guys. esp gals... so many!! dinner.. blahblah... after dinner was the mini service! it was so solid. the PnW, and then pacer preached about emptation, serving God and running the race. then every1 got to their knees and prayed... seeked God... and then another short session of PnW..
service finish liao, was free time. toilet madness!! and allocation of rooms... gals two rooms.. one upstairs and one downstairs. guys one room. i was downstairs with destruction woman [[chermaine]], alena, amanda, eunice, joyce and michelle. cindy, mandy, chloe and natalie was upstairs.. ldrs in the living room. the upstairs room got sink in the cupboard. so cool! haha...
okay. we were supposed to be sleeping.. but some of us were hungryy... so we went to kitchen see got food anot.. ldrs having meeting.. blah... sleep!! (cheney was I/C for the day, he was so auntie, so lorsor!!)
[[WEDNESDAY - 1 december]]
the ldrs came to shower when we were sleeping... i saw jacq, vin and i think alicia... mainey woke up at 5am, to see the sunrise. i was woken up by her spastic laughing at 5.30am!!! -.-"" aiyooo... then evantually the whole room woke up.. some tiptoed to the living room.. the ldrs were sleeping on the floor, sofas and table.. then some showered. aiyo! the drainage system is so lousy. the toilet flood! (there was NO sunrise, btw) 7.30am... 5BX.. led by alvin tay. sigh. made us run ard lah... i cannot run. no stamina sehx.. we had personal and group devotion... then breakfast. after breakfast, games. the 1st game still okay. we had to act whats on the paper.. and the others guess. the 2nd game was exspararating. each group had to make the longest line with whatever they had at that point of time. we laid our shoes... and kin onn made everyone lie in the grass! the worst thing - HE BROKE MY ONLY HAIRBAND!!!! whahahaz... i was so 'angry' and so he promised me a hairband by the end of the day. anyway quite stupid lah. bend the hairband for wad?! okay. so we din win. >.< i had to tie my hair in a hairstyle and the ushers found it so cute. -.-" next was another game. we had to pass the ball ard.. cannot pass to someone that has already taken the ball. then, after every1 got the ball, we had to repeat the exact cycle. FASTER. haha... we came up with a good strategy and passed the ball in 7secs!!
then was sharing by alvin and cindy. they were wearing formal.. sharing their testimonials... blah.. good sharing. =)
lunch was quite nice.. and we started playing lame games. very lame ones!!!
here's the fun part. WATER GAME! whahaahx... everyone got soaked. alvin poured two pails on me and cindy, then kin onn poured one on me. :S hahaha... so fun sia! after that the ldrs passed us black thin trash bags. like the umbrella that kind. we had to blindfold ourself.. and totally depend on the ldrs, or we'll stumble. they led us to the grassy patch area barefoot.. the bbq pit there.. we arent supposed to tell other ppl what we felt or experienced. one by one.. the ldrs washed our right foot. so tickly! every1 done liao, we had to wash a person's left foot. it was supposed to remind us of servanthood, and how Jesus washed his deciples feet. FINALLY, we went back into the house and changed clothes.
alicia set up the laptop... we had to watch the cat and dog theology thingy. i think most of us were half asleep. heh. i was drifting in and out of sleep like in exams. -.-
then bbq! we had abit of free time cuz some ppl were starting the fire etc. wayne was so zhun... came right when we finished bbq-ing the 1st few sticks of meat! >.<>
this is one of the most memorable things of this retreat - the candle game. not exactly a game... but it's written... "the candle game" so fine.haha. everyone had a lighted candle.. it was completely dark... no lights.. doors and windows are closed. then vinnie spoke... talked seriously.. made us reflect. why did we join this ministry? and blew out our candles one by one. then she lighted a big candle in the center of the room. that candle represented God. every1 then made a promise to God and self.. 'rededicated' themselves to the ministry and to God. after that we viewed a movie by vinnie! it was soooo cool and nice. it was then about 11.30pm.. free time. 12am there was a prayer cum PnW session.. many were half dead.. including me lah... but God's presence was there. 1.30am++ we wrapped up and some ppl started playing sparklers... so smoky!! i was in the kitchen... then wayne came tempting me with the banana. -.-""" cuz on sunday GM, one of the ldrs said if we are the type who will feel hungry in the middle of the night.. then bring sth to eat. and i told wayne earlier that i eat bananas for breakfast on sundays most of the time. and so he said..."and right, muz rem to bring lots of bananas cuz sheryl likes to eat banana!!" >.<>
[[TODAY]]
i slept so soundly... like log lidat. this morning cannot wake up!! so stonee... the day was breakfast, sharing, devotion, testimonies, picture taking and blah. we checked out at 10.15am... some of us took the shuttle, some took 29, and some went to walk walk. diaoz!! 13 of us in the 29 bus... so noisy. at the int.. i immedately went to buy hairband. i was going nuts lor!! then.. 9 of us went to macs to eat. alvin, cindy, alena, vinnie, me, michelle, amanda, jerome and mandy... blah.. took bus home with mandy... now so stone!!!!!!! and... i met the pass checkers again!!! aiyoo.. thank God manx... the person din ask to SEE the card, just flash the card on the thingy. is God trying to tell me i shouldnt use my sis's card????

those were the two main qns. i learnt so much in the retreat... know new ppl.. miss them already!! i was so touched by the sermons and the candle activity.
Lord... thankew for the good weather.. thankew for evt. that the retreat was a success... that every1 learnt sth and not go home empty. You please just bless those who didnt go.. bless tiffany esp Lord.. her concert is tmr. see her thru it Lord.. give her this peace that she'll not be able to describe. in Jesus name, Amen.
